In this page you can create New Projects and assign them to team members. This is helpful when we want to Pre-Plan an event which needs to covered during a specific timeline such as FIFA World Cup or the Academy Awards.

The idea behind Create Project section is to define the Content Type and Goals of the project. The thing to do is to choose Content Format. We have Four Types of Formats to choose from as follows:
Headings - A narrative title to the project explaining the event or news
Description - Its good to write a very crisp and clear description. The description shall contain Goals, Outcomes, Quantity, Ideas, Instruction to the author on how the story has to be written and presented. Its the section for the editor to establish expectations.
This section is used to implement a Due Date for the project. There are two important dates that needs to be focused.
Publish Deadline - This is the Due Date by which the story has to be published and go Live. This also marks the End Date of the Project.
Editor Deadline - This is the due date for the Author to submit his stories for review with the Editor. Its good to have this set a day prior to the date of publishing as it gives room fr review and rework.
The project involves two major members:
Priority - A writer maybe assigned many projects which will have many deadlines and time frames. The Editor can set the priority for the given project in a scale of 1 - 10. With the order of significance 1 being Highest Priority, 5 - Medium and 10 as the Lowest.
Once the details have been filled you can choose to save the Project in draft to be assigned later or you can immediately assign the Project to the writer using the Submit & Proceed Button
